Emily Esquivel
Emily Esquivel, MA, LCPC (she/they), is a queer Latine psychotherapist and the founder of Oyanova Healing and co-founder of Oyanova Enterprises. Bringing together their training in theology and clinical counseling, they offer a relational, integrative, and culturally grounded therapeutic practice that centers healing and self‑expression for historically marginalized communities. With deep empathy and a commitment to collaborative growth, Emily helps clients uncover the patterns beneath identity and trauma, making space for wholeness, authenticity, and liberation to emerge.
Dr. Jessica Esquivel
Dr. Jessica Esquivel (she/her) is a queer Afrolatine physicist, science communicator, and system disruptor. With a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics and a PhD in Physics, she now works at Fermilab on the Muon g‑2 experiment—pushing physics forward while breaking barriers for Black women in STEM. As co‑founder of Oyanova Enterprises and a founding leader of the #BlackInPhysics movement, Jessica builds liberatory STEAM and healing infrastructures rooted in community, identity, and joy. Whether inspiring young learners on Mission Unstoppable or redefining the idea of a “scientist,” she brings imagination, humanity, and radical possibility to every space she enters.
