On Monday September 8th, 2025, the Citizens Enterprise Technology & Security (ET&S) team hosted a Charity Golf Scramble at TPC Boston to benefit a fantastic cause: supporting the National Girls Collaborative Project (NGCP) in our work empowering girls and women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This exciting event brought together Citizens employees, their families, and vendors from across the United States to participate. By partnering with the NGCP, the Citizens ET&S team aimed to contribute to a future where women are equitably represented and celebrated in all STEM professions.

In addition to the friendly competition on the golf course, the event featured various prizes for golfing, a lively silent auction, and exciting raffle prizes – all of which went to supporting NGCP. The event wasn't just about golf; it was a powerful display of community and corporate social responsibility. Approximately $70,00 was raised to support the NGCP's vital work. This significant donation will help NGCP continue to provide resources, programs, and a strong collaborative network that inspires the next generation of women leaders and innovators.
The day was made even more special by the attendance of NGCP representatives who came from across the United States to be a part of the event, including Board Chair Gabriela Gonzalez, Senior Researcher Amanda Sullivan, and New England Collaborative Lead Donata Martin. They spent time with attendees, sharing valuable information about the NGCP's impact and mission. It was a great opportunity for Citizens employees to learn more about how their contributions would directly support girls and women in STEM.

The success of the Citizens ET&S Charity Golf Scramble is a testament to what we can achieve when we come together for a shared purpose. The funds raised will have a lasting impact on the lives of countless girls and women, helping to build a more diverse and inclusive future in STEM.
