NGCP partners with NASA’s Universe of Learning on Girls STEAM Ahead with NASA (GSAWN), a nationwide project to engage girls and their families in authentic STEM experiences and current NASA science. Since 2017, NGCP has collaborated with the GSAWN team to:  

• Develop and disseminate a yearly application to recruit informal educators from the NGCP network to participate in the initiative.  
• Support 38 organizations across 18 states to receive an implementation stipend to plan and lead community events using the GSAWN free resources.  
• Lead yearly national webinars to showcase GSAWN resources in action, attended by hundreds of educators across the country.
