MTSU Expanding Your Horizons:

Saturday, October 25

MTSU's Expanding Your Horizons in Science and Mathematics Conference will be held on Saturday, October 25, also on the MTSU campus. The day will be filled with guest speakers and workshops for all girls in grades 5 through 12, and the ladies of MTSU's Women In Science and Engineering (WISE) will be taking part in a panel discussion for young women in grades 9 through 12. The registration fee for middle school girls is $12; for high school students, the fee is $15.

Registration is a two-part process.

1. Girls must register themselves and choose their workshops on the EYH Web site. To find MTSU's conference, pick "Tennessee" in the drop-down box on the main page. From there, girls will be taken to a page with both the middle school and high school registration information--they should take care to pick the correct one!

2. Parents must then complete the MTSU EYH permission form. These can be submitted electronically by clicking the "submit" button at the bottom of the permission form page, but they may also be mailed. Registration checks and paper permission forms should be sent to:

MTSU EYH

MTSU P.O. Box X161

1301 East Main Street

Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37132

For more information, please visit MTSU's EYH Web site.

If you are having trouble accessing the above Web sites, an MS Word document with step-by-step instructions is available. Please send an e-mail to lfleming@mtsu.edu; if possible, identify where in the registration process you are having issues.
