Miss Representation |
|
Join us October 24 at the Economic
Summit on Women for the session from 2:30-4:15 pm
about the documentary film "Miss Representation"
that will inspire women and girls to find their
own voice and power. American teens talk about the
mixed messages they are getting and their struggle
to find the right path. There will be discussion
about the issue of why women and girls are often
misrepresented in the media and what can be done
to change this. Young girls who are students may
attend this session only at no cost, but must
contact Yvonne Wood at ycwood@aol.com to sign up
for the session. |
