The Midwest Girls Collaborative Project (MWGCP) brings together organizations throughout Illinois that are committed to informing and motivating girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This spring we are promoting collaboration through our April Forum event. The forum will be held on the Illiniois State University campus in Normal, Illinois. Please come join us!

Fall Forum at Northern Illinois University's STEMFEST

Time: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Registrtion: $15 (includes breakfast and lunch)
Place: NIU's Convocation Center
Interested in learning more about increasing girls' interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics? Have an idea that needs a bit of funding? Want to connect with others who share your interest in getting girls to consider STEM fields?
If you answered, "Yes," to any of these questions, please consider joining us at the Midwest Girls Collaborative Project's 2010 Fall Forum, Saturday, October 23, in conjunction with STEMfest. This event will be the kick-off of the 2010 fall mini-grant round. One of the presentations will be on applying for a mini-grant. You will also have the opportunity to speak with past mini-grant winners.
