Other Events
In addition to the Annual Conference, MAGiC will host a variety of events for girl-serving organizations, educators, and business professionals in its area. Two forum events will provide professional development activities, highlight local programs, and continue the valuable networking experience. During this time, programs can collaborate to apply for and earn mini-grant awards, then carry out those projects.
- Spring Forum
The MAGiC Spring Forum was held on May 22, 2010. The forum focused on best practices in assessing the effectiveness of programs and lessons learned from the first round of mini-grant funding. This forum also launched the second round of mini-grant funding.

The Mid-Atlantic Girls Collaborative (MAGiC) Kick-Off Conference was held on Septmeber 26, 2009 in Rockville, Maryland. This event was designed to bring together individuals and organizations that serve girls in formal and informal science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education. Participants learned about resources to support their activities and how to gain funding to create STEM partnerships. Catherine Didion from the National Academy of Engineering served as keynote speaker.
