This
workshop will cover best practices in assessing informal STEM projects.
You will learn about the resources available for use through the
Assessing Women and Men in Engineering (AWE) project and how to use your
data to get your project/program funding. This workshop will include
information that you can use in writing MAGiC Mini-Grant proposals.

An overview of the findings from the AAUW study on gender equity in
STEM will be provided. In addition to learning about the most recent
social science research on the low numbers of women in some STEM fields,
recommendations will be provided on what we can do about it.
