Committee Assignments
Resource Development
The Resource Development Committee will be responsible for identifying, cultivating and soliciting support through private gifts and grants. This committee will work with the Communication/ Marketing Committee to fulfill its goals.
Communication/Marketing
The people on this committee will manage all press releases for Collaborative events. In addition, they will work with statewide communication networks to announce upcoming events and workshops and communicate with the NGCP webmaster regarding updates to the KGCP Web site.
K-12 STEM
The K-12 Committee will stay informed on statewide initiatives related to K-12 education, make contacts with non-formal and formal educators, and develop and implement K-12 programs.
Higher Education STEM
The people on this committee will work with the Council on Postsecondary Education to stay informed on all initiatives related to STEM in higher education, make contacts with college and university representatives, and develop and implement college and university programs.
Professional and Community Organizations
This committee will establish networks with all girl and STEM-related organizations within Kentucky.
Annual Conference Program Committee
This committee will coordinate the annual conference. Their responsibilities include setting planning meeting dates, setting conference dates, researching other conferences, setting the agenda, recruiting attendees, contacting presenters, finding volunteers, securing meeting space and managing the budget.
