Annual Conference
The second annual conference of the Indiana Girls Collaborative Project is to be held on September 22, 2011 at the Campus Center, Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis, Indiana. The purpose of the conference is to provide professional development and collaborative opportunities to support participants' efforts to increase the involvement of girls in STEM education and careers. The invited keynote speaker is Professor Christie Sahley, Director, ADVANCE-Purdue Center for Faculty Success and Special Advisor to the Provost, Gender Equity, Purdue University. Other session include: "21st Century STEM Skill Needs--Closing the Gap Panel", "Selected STEM Programs and Projects", "Funding, Grants, and Resources ", and "Reaching Under-served Girls". There is also time for Speed Networking.
