Event Purpose
The National Girls Collaborative Project (NGCP) brings together organizations throughout the United States that are committed to informing and encouraging girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The Collaboration Conference is an opportunity for representatives from these organizations to connect and learn from each other and from national experts.

Registration and Collaboration Showcase Poster Session Application Now Open!
Early Bird registration deadline; March 5, 2012.
Conference registration is now open! The early bird registration fee of $325 is available through March 5, 2012. After March 5th, the registration fee increases to $375. Once you have completed the registration form, you will receive a link for the hotel booking website to book your room at the conference rate of $224 per night plus tax. All attendees are responsible for registration fee, travel, and lodging costs.

Event Goals
- Increase collaboration between local girl-serving STEM practitioners and with national experts
- Increase access to resources such as exemplary program practices, models, and resources
- Provide training and opportunities to collaborate on a local, regional, and national level
Conference Sessions
In addition to offering plenary sessions and both guided and informal networking opportunities, the Collaboration Conference will offer concurrent sessions throughout the event. These sessions, to be hosted by one or more individuals or organizations, will offer participants the opportunity to interact with presenters and the material in-depth in small group settings, in order to be prepared to implement learning in their programs.
Exhibit Hall and Sponsorship Opportunities
The Exhibit Hall will be open during receptions and breaks to ensure maximum attendance and will provide an opportunity for individuals and organizations to showcase resources, products, and services designed to expand STEM opportunities for girls and women. There are also a number of opportunities for advertising and sponsorship available. Contact: Kate Pickle.
USA Science and Engineering Festival April 27-29, 2012
The second annual USA Science and Engineering Festival will be held in Washington, D.C. the weekend following the Collaboration Conference. NGCP will be hosting "Girl Zone", a reserved area of the festival for hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and female role models led by NGCP partners and programs. Contact: Kate Pickle.
Travel, Hotel, and Registration Costs
All attendees, including presenters, will be responsible for travel, lodging, and conference registration costs. Early Bird registration: $325 per person; Full registration: $375 per person.
